You will be working in the gallery with a small group in an informal life drawing session guided by artist, Caroline Lea. Caroline’s friendly style will appeal to both experienced artists and beginners, or those who are new to life drawing. A professional model will provide a variety of poses, with plenty of time for one to one guidance, instruction and feedback as you require. Refreshments are provided in the gallery, and there is a chance to relax and socialise over lunch which is provided in the Art Lounge. Here you can watch artwork from local and international artists on the Video Screen. Classes will be adjusted to meet the needs of individual participants, but will generally introduce elements such as measurement and proportion, foreshortening, line and tone, composition and mark making techniques. You may bring along your own drawing materials, but some will be provided by the gallery. Classes will continue through the year.
A sandwich lunch is included.
